Glorify God through homeschooling and housewifery

I'm doing some online research on child welfare issues, and for some reason this means I keep stumbling across fundamentalist Christian websites. (Yes, they're all American - another clue to why I immigrated.) Here's how the author of one of them describes herself:

I'm a wife of one and mother of four little ones loaned to us from the hand of God. Daily I struggle to die to self and glorify God through homeschooling and housewifery.

Here's how she describes her blog:

Reflections on homekeeping, minding children, radical obedience to the Word of God, midwifery, making milk, and the world at large.

Dover to Deal bike ride

Wendy and I both had Monday off, so took our bikes to Dover, where we picked up a lovely cycle route - countryside, coastal, and almost completely car-free - that took us down to the beach at Deal. Highly recommended.
