However, where the Danes concerned like to bring national pride to bear on the question, it seems that these New Yorkers have more of a, shall we say, fairy-cake approach to the social contract. I think that's better, on the whole. I'm going with the featured pie as my favourite.

Most reasonable people would agree that while patriotism is often honourable in a poo, sprinkles are lovely on everything*. Just ask the pigeons.
*Which is not to say that sprinkles make everything lovely. We have prima facie evidence against that position right here.
